Chao Phraya Riverside Thailand
The mid-rise residential development is located along the Bangkok River. The long narrow site and the access presented challenges that required creative approach to the concept design.
To deal with these challenges: strong visual connections to the river and the city skyline, articulations, change of planes and setbacks were used to define the building form. The result was a building form with unique iconic architecture.
All units were orientated in such a way that all receive adequate direct sun and filtered daylight. To complete the well-integrated and attractive residential development, the transitional area between buildings and the public spaces accommodates cafes, restaurants, and retail shopping.
