Adjacent to the East Kolkata Wetlands, this Eco Retreat & Spa is designed to become the central hub to one of the world’s largest tropical biospheres. 

Taking inspiration from the materials and wildlife found within the Ramsar listed wetlands, the Eco Retreat & Spa development creates an ecologically conscious foundation, which celebrates the unique flora and fauna.

South City Eco Retreat & Spa aims to gain IGBC accreditation. The project uses strong references to the wetlands with locally sourced materials throughout the development. Flora specific to the area will be planted and grown on site, furthermore, a lake becomes the focal point of the retreat, creating a new home for the local wildlife to grow and thrive.
