Through its efforts, the Award seeks to identify and encourage concepts that successfully address and interpret the subject matter of each year in the most creative and out-of-the-box way.

The selection process emphasizes concepts that not only respond to the competition theme, but also stimulates thinking, debates, and propose new and innovative ideas. 

The award is governed by a board chaired by the president and founder Dr. Chafia Ferhat

The board establishes the eligibility criteria for the project submission, provides thematic direction, and develops plans for the future of the award. The board is responsible for the selection and appointment of the jury for each Award year, and for the Award’s ceremony, exhibition, and publications.
